Dans cet atelier d’écriture que j’anime au CCFB à Nantes depuis quelques années, l’accent est mis sur le plaisir d’écrire – soit en anglais, soit en français. Les propositions d’écriture se font à partir de textes littéraires de langue anglaise et de diverses amorces ludiques. Les extraits de textes sont commentés en début de séance et une traduction est fournie. Cette approche bilingue encourage une ouverture créative et une richesse d’expression dans l’écriture.

Nombre de participants : minimum 6 inscrits, maximum 10.

WRITING WORKSHOP / ATELIER D’ECRITURE CCFB 2020-2021

The bilingual writing workshop that I have now been teaching for four years had to be on line this year. This was for me an occasion to ascertain the truth of one of my favourite quotes: ‘The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty’ (Winston Churchill). Indeed, although we all missed seeing each other, reading our texts aloud and laughing together, there was an unexpected bonus: the focus on the written text definitely brought increased quality and depth to the writing process.

L’atelier d’écriture que j’anime au CCFB a dû avoir lieu en ligne cette année. Ce que nous avons perdu en échanges directs, sourires, rires, intonation, nous l’avons gagné autrement : la focalisation sur le texte écrit a permis de mettre en lumière et d’accentuer la qualité et la profondeur des textes. Le programme indiqué ci-dessous reflète bien l’atelier dans son ensemble, y compris dans son approche bilingue, qui encourage à mon sens une ouverture créative et une richesse d’expression dans l’écriture.
